True Double Crop with excellent economics.

Better Winter Wheat yields with deep banding into February Winter Wheat carries into double crop soybeans across the Great Plains.

Missouri River Dikes. Marshall, MO. Banding Winter Wheat in February, 2014

Exactrix Mustangs and TAPPKTS/Zn/Mn changed the rotation by moving the maturity ahead allowing double crop soybeans, Milo and Green Chop Corn. Changing maturity drives yields, proteins, and quality with a shift to double crop.

This  is a common practice in Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma.
Also perennials like Alfalfa and HC Bermuda Grass can be quickly rotated and back into rotation with Exactrix Mustang Deep Banding.

November to February Bands of Exactrix Mustang TAPPKTS at 8 inch depths for present winter wheat crops produce record yields,
high test weight and good milling protein.

Followed by record net returns in a double crop start with a June Soybean planting.

The Big N. The Most Powerful Technical Achievement In The US economy.
The base root of the world economy is anhydrous ammonia.
A great technical hedge in land values and profits. Only in North America is NH3 directly applied with tremendous economic advantage.

In the USA, NH3 Growth at 8% in 2018.  NH3 Grows Again in the US to 12,500 metric tons annually.

Several new plants go on line from 150 ton per day to 3,300 ton per day in 2018 and 2019.

Exactrix complements the commitment with the most advanced NH3 systems for reducing use and hitting the target.

  1

The biggest anhydrous ammonia plants in the world are 2,500 to 3,500 tons per day as per Saudi Arabia.

A new plant at Freeport, Texas went on line in April at 2,500 tons per day…another NH3 plant in Iowa, at about 2,300 tons per day...all in the first and second quarter of 2018.
In the US most new facilities are owned by Norwegians, Egyptians or Germans.  Koch does not build new plants, they buy old plants.

This is the newest NH3 plant now just about ready to go to full production for fall 2018.
Three passes…NH1, NH2, NH3, right here at very high pressures. This is it, the screaming heart of the system.

The process typically takes three passes to make the highest quality chemical product in the world.
The N came from the 78 percent atmospheric N2 and the Hydrogen (Methane CH4) comes from Natural Gas.
NH3 plants have a lot of very low cost Natural Gas thanks to fracking revolution in the oil fields.

Cold Storage at -28F, A single tank?

  • Typically there are two storage cryogenic tanks except for Agrium at Borger, Texas which has no large cryogenic, low pressure storage tank.

Another great technical achievement …one of the best in the last 200 years.  Fortigen did it again at Geneva.
