Filled the room with
top producers from Canada and US. Better and Better was a
general feeling....about 70% of the producers attending were new
to Exactrix.
Training is very
important and discovering the precision of Exactrix applications
was explained.
Good discussions and
the training seemed to be well absorbed and reticulated by the
producers that have Exactrix for up to six years.
Larry Murphy and Paul
Jasa made two presentations.....Rock solid presentations....and
good training.
Crop Quest covered the
3 years of continuous corn.
Garrett Havel
and Nathan Woydziak of Crop Quest along with Joel McClure
revealed interesting data of continuous corn....go to
Mcclure.htm.
Luke Faliede covered
SatShot....expanding the services to agronomists making maps.
Information was
exchanged........along with producer panels following the formal
presentations. Larry Richenberger handled wheat and Paul Jasa
handled corn.
Corn and Wheat were
covered along with emphasis of Root Pattern Geometry, Timing,
Exactrix Uniformity, TAPPS, and No-till.
Good Information was
also available in localized discussions at lunch and dinner and
at the bar.
Producers came from
Electra, Texas to the south....Colorado to west and Indiana to
East....and from the Great White North came Ken Dechant...at 55
degrees North at Manning Alberta...one of the most respected
producers in Alberta....seeding 12,000 acres in 10 days....and
applying Exactrix NH3 accurately in preplant....Oredered 550
tons of NH3 and finished with a 2 ton credit...at .003 field
applied accuracy.
Ken Dechant, Bob
Forest and Marty from Alberta were able to get a good view of
western Kansas producers using Exactrix. Trevor Cowieson of
Souris Manitoba has made the Exactrix Meetings in the past and
will review TAPPS with his 1890.
